Transponder IR-2
This circuit has been designed to repeat IR signals from remote control to any recipient who is out of reach, as for example in another room or inside a cupboard. Its operation is very simple: The received signal amplified by the IR receiver is transmitted to the IC to generate a signal of about 40KHz, which in turn is transmitted to the transistor output of the frequency will flash the LED emitted. The photodiode will be compatible with any audio receivers / TV and the issuer of the type used in either a remote control.
